As your full-service partner, Kunkle Valve Services offers testing services to verify valve performance and validate compliance with stringent Cal/OSHA. We provide testing, rebuilding, converting, and change pressure settings on any Emerson Kunkle 330 or 330S valve and, when necessary, can provide new valves.
Kunkle Valve Services has a 97% passing rate and offers great pricing for rebuilt Kunkle 330/330S valves, providing you with substantial savings over purchasing a brand-new valve should your valve fail certification. When you purchase rebuilt valves or have us rebuild your valves, the first time you send your Kunkle 330/330S valve(s) for an annual test, we guarantee that they will pass. If the valve fails the first annual test, we will repair it for only the cost of the test ($135), a savings of $385 per valve.
New Kunkle 330/330S valves can be assembled with two seat options: Kynar hard plastic and Urethane soft seat. The difference between the two is night and day. Kynar seats have a tendency to bond to their sealing surface creating a one-time seal. Once the valve gets tested to pressure and the seal releases, 80-90% of the time the valve will not reseal. This means that 80-90% of these valves will fail their first annual test. We only assemble new valves with a Urethane soft seat.
